Switchbacks on Luz-Ardiden |
Day 4
WED July 21 ›The Double!
Two classic Pyrenean climbs are on the agenda for today: Luz-Ardiden and Hautacam!
Who can forget Luz-Ardiden where lance got his handlebars caught in a spectators handbag and crashed, only to jump back up and go on to take the stage victory.
Or Hautacam in 2000, where Lance crushed the opposition, taking 3.5 minutes out of Jan Ullrich on his way to the yellow jersey.
