Epic Trans-Andalusia Unpacked

What a week it has been in Andalusia! Perfect weather, sensational rides and traffic free roads in the beating heart of Spain.

Epic Trans-Andalusia Unpacked

Whilst some of the trees are still bare of leaves, the temperatures allowed for sun kissed days of short sleeves amongst the warm scent of orange blossom.

We had a great group of 10 cyclists who joined us to take on over 15,000m of climbing in 7 days of riding. Starting in the famous Sierra Nevada and riding westwards through the picturesque ancient cities of Antequera and Ronda and finishing on the Mediterranean Coast in Estepona.

This is a trip bless with challenging climbs and stunning views, from the dramatic limestone formations of El Torcal to the El Chorro Gorge, overlooking Caminito del Rey. There aren’t many trips with better roadside refreshment stops!

The roads here are nearly traffic free, allowing you complete freedom to enjoy the ride ahead. Only occasionally with the road be gridlocked with a rush hour of goats!

With stunning hotels and incredible authentic local food, the end to each day was as perfect as the beginning. We’d like to thank all of our guests who made this trip a special one; a trip to quintessential Spain, peppered with Hors Categorie climbs, breathtaking views and some of the best cycling you’ll ever experience.
