The figurehead of Thomson Bike Tours, Peter never stops riding. Since setting up the company back in 2001, Peter’s covered over 200,000 km on the bike and grown the business into what it is today.

Michael Collins

Financial / Operations Director

Michael is the steady hand on the helm at Thomson. As Operations Director and financial wiz, it’s Michael’s job to coordinate the team, guests and logistics for all the trips we run.

Nancy Cantú

Guest Relations Manager/Office Manager

Nanct has been Guest Relations Manager for Thomson for 20+ years and loves to help our guests as they prepare for their cycling adventures!

Paula Martinez

Finance Manager

Paula keeps the books organized in the office and provides support to Michael and Nancy. Her attention to detail is always present in everything she does.

Tim Petrick

North America Sales Manager / Ride Leader

Tim has held senior executive positions at K2 Sports, Groupe Rossignol, Booth Creek Ski Holdings and Powder Magazine. He has always found a way to combine his love of skiing in the winter with the adventurous aspect of cycling during the rest of the year. He has ridden his bike his entire life – first as a means of freedom and transportation, then as a way to get in shape for skiing. Tim was a Cat 3 racer with Hammer Race Team in Boulder, Colorado. He lives south of Seattle, WA with his wife Michelle.

Sergi Florenciano

Partnerships Manager / Ride Leader

Invaluable to Thomson, Sergi is a great bike rider, communicator and socialite. One of our primary ride leaders and trip managers on the bike and involved with trip planning, strategy and bike industry relationships off the bike.

Pere Valls

Warehouse Manager / Ride Leader

Pere is a logistics genius and is head of the Thomson warehouse as well as a tough ride leader. He came late to the road bike scene but time and again has proved that he can tough it out with the best of them on any of our trips.

Marc Gasch

Gravel Division Manager / Ride Leader

Marc has a Degree in Law, yet his true passion lies elsewhere…He began as an outdoor photographer publishing his photos in major outdoor magazines. Marc has been Editor at MTB Magazine SOLO BICI. GRAVEL is now his big love - being a pioneer in Spain, he has worked with the top cycling brands in the industry and has managed Gravel trips around the world. Having travelled to more than 40 countries, his favorite destinations for Gravel are Spain and Japan, followed by Iceland and Western USA.

Llibert Sendros

STRAVA killer! Llibert is your guide if you want to improve your condition and challenge yourself on the climbs! He is an ex-professional expert on training and nutrition! Ask him for the secrets of the pro peloton!

Albert Montserrat

Albert has always been passionate about sport and for him cycling is the star sport! He has been on a bike since he was 14, and feels he has spent half his life on two wheels!

Marc Figueras

Marc fell in love with cycling watching the Tour de France at the age of 8. Thirteen years later, he is studying Journalism and wants to become a Cycling Commentator. He loves climbing - the harder the better!

Dani Garcia

Dani is our Belgium Expert. He’s based near Brussels for most of the year but is a key guide on our Spring Classics trip. He has all the backroad knowledge required to make your Classics trip truly excellent.

Aitor Mendez

Aitor is our young and robust ride leader! Passionate about bike mechanics and cycling, his first love was mountain biking. Aitor is always ready for a “wheelie”, to lend a helping hand and never miss a laugh!

Scotty Main

Ride Leader

Scotty is our Australian connection who lives in the French Alps at the foot of Mont Blanc. His calm energy and encouragement will get even the most apprehensive guests to the top of a climb. Happy go lucky, Scotty enjoys helping clients reach their cycling goals. Campagnolo is best.

Alvaro Martínez

Warehouse Coordinator / Mechanic

Alvaro is our youngest team member, who confesses there is only one thing he loves more than the bike – chocolate! He learned how to build bikes from scratch from the Internet. When he´s not repairing our bike fleet, he enjoys his free time restoring antique bikes turning them into real works of art!

Meritxell Martell

Ride Leader

Meri is passionate about everything she does. If it wasn’t enough ride leading with Thomson, she dedicates her spare time to RAID, or Adventure Racing across Europe.

Ada Xinxo

Ride Leader

New to road cycling, Ada is a former lover of mountain-biking and the challenges of long distances on wide wheels…She´s cycling crazy!

Dani Feito

Ride Leader

A native from Asturias in the North of Spain, Dani is a natural-born climber and great companion for those long climbs. He races in Gran Fondos and Masters, and enjoys pizza – his greatest source of energy at food stops!

Manuel Pizarro

Ride Leader

Manuel is based in Paris and works in the car industry as his day job. He loves to help out during the Tour de France and gives us great SAG support.

Alex Montañez

Alex is often the poster boy of Thomson Bike Tours. He’s a brililant rider who’s first love is actually Triathlon.

Rob Bailey

Trip Support Manager

An ex- Royal Airforce navigator, Rob is a stalwart of Thomson and brilliantly executes the Thomson SAG. You’ll most likely find him on our VIP trips or the Tour de France. If you are ever lucky to coincide with Rob on a trip, then be prepared to be regaled with fascinating old war stories.

Gino Duffet

Trip Support Manager

Gino is a Spain-based South African. He provides excellent support as a SAG driver and his favorite trips are the Trans-Cantabria and the Trans-Corsica.
