The route for the 2025 Vuelta a España was revealed in an official ceremony in Madrid on December 19. The Vuelta organizers have served up another thrilling route, with the opening stages set to take place in Piedmont, followed by a brief visit into France. The race then continues into Catalonia and Andorra with 2 summit finishes in Pal and Cerler. The big mountains come towards the end of the 2nd week with back to back summit finishes on the Angliru and the Farrapona. The suspense will continue all the way to the penultimate stage with a final summit finish on the brutally steep Bola del Mundo.
